Our Mission

The mission of the Clinical Effectiveness and Patient Safety Center is to:

  • Improve medical and public education through simulation training;
  • Improve patient safety and save lives.

Additionally, the Clinical Effectiveness and Patient Safety Center is committed to educational research to create the leading Simulation Center of its kind in the world. Through natural partnerships, we plan to take advantage of the economic spin-offs of these activities to further support the Center in research on future forms of simulation (virtual reality, handheld computing, etc.)
